New Zealand Land of Trees
A beautiful, full-colour book of 40 full-page paintings depicting 30 of New Zealand's native trees in their natural habitat, from Three Knights Islands in the far north through to Stewart Island and the Auckland Islands in the deep south.
Ron's paintings are accompanied by text that is informal and entertaining, and includes interesting snippets of information about the trees, their history, former uses for the timber, and so on. Ron Cometti is well known as the author of New Zealand Forest Treasures and other books. He has had paintings reproduced in Forest & Bird Magazine, NZ Geographic, and his paintings have been sold in gallery exhibitions, many to overseas collections.
